Unlike other PanelView Plus 600 terminals, the 2711P-T6M3D has an analog resistive touchscreen for input. With a modular communication interface, the 2711P-T6M3D is usable through the entire product range. It is designed for an easy installation with minimal effort by using a screwdriver.

The 2711P-T6M3D’s RS-232 communication port supports DF1 serial, DH-485, and multi-vendor drivers. If the user wants to change the installation, a communication module can be added to the 2711P-T6M3D. Possible modules include ControlNet, DeviceNet, or DH+/DH-485/Remote I/O modules. The device operates at 0 - 55°C and it can be stored at 25 – 70°C. It has an LED CCFL backlight with a 50,000-hour lifespan. The 2711P-T6M3D comes with an application memory of 64 MB for its bitmaps or recording data and 10 MB of additional memory for application storage.
