Note that the 18-bit TFT color touchscreen is analog and resistive and has a total display area of 8.3 x 6.2 inches. The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T10C4B1 is a PanelView Plus 1000 touch terminal. It comes with a 10.4-inch touchscreen that has a resolution of 640 x 480. When using a stylus, make sure that the tip has a minimum radius of 1.3 millimeters to avoid damaging the screen. Users can use bare fingers, gloved fingers, or a plastic stylus to operate the touchscreen.

Every terminal offers a Network Access port for local access to the ControlNet network. Application files are easily downloaded or uploaded using PanelBuilder32 over the ControlNet link, directly via the on-board RS-232 printer port, or with a PC memory card. The 2711P-T10C4B1 touch screen may be operated with a finger, gloved finger, or plastic stylus device with a minimum tip radius of 1.3 mm (0.051 in.) to prevent damage to the touch screen. Using any other object or tool may damage the touch screen.
